walks, great food (with attention to any dietary restrictions), and excellent accommodations. These are hotel rooms with a
private bath, and not the bunk bed setups you find at a summer camp.
The Hudson Valley Resort
and Spa (formerly called The Granite) differs from the older hotels in
that it was built in the late 1950s and was renovated just a few years
ago. The rooms and facilities are all in very good condition. There is

is a "workshop"?

opposed to a concert). They may involve several performers
discussing and singing songs; or just one performer in a mini-concert
setting; or could be a teaching session on a particular instrument or
technique. There is plenty of opportunity for audience participation.
What is the "Camper Concert?"
The Camper Concert is the place where anyone can sign up to perform (sing, play, tell a story, etc.). The sign-up sheet is located at the registration desk.
Do I have to go to all the activities?

facilities (including an indoor pool), or hiking in the area than attending formal sessions.
I come just for the day or part of the day? Do I have to stay
at the Hotel?
It's nice to stay at the hotel so you are right there at all
times but there are rates for admission only (no meals or lodging) for
the whole festival as well as rates for parts of the day.
